Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on April 19, 2022

No local COVID-19 case was reported in Hubei on April 19. A total of four local asymptomatic carriers were identified (1 was traveler from another province detected in Yichang; 1 in Ezhou; 2 were detected in Huanggang. Among them, one was from another province). There was neither inbound case nor asymptomatic carrier. Yesterday saw no suspected case or death. One confirmed patient in Enshi was discharged from hospital.10 asymptomatic carriers were discharged from medical observation (6 in Suizhou, 3 in Wuhan, and 1 in Huanggang).

As of 24:00, April 19, four local cases were hospitalized in the designated medical institution (2 in Wuhan with mild symptoms, 1 in Yichang with common symptoms, and 1 in Huanggang with mild symptoms). There was no suspected case in the medical institution. 306 local asymptomatic patients were under medical observation (124 cases in Wuhan, 53 in Huanggang, 4 in Huangshi, 90 in Ezhou, 22 in Suizhou, 3 in Shiyan, 6 in Enshi, 2 in Jingmen, and 2 in Yichang). 

No inbound case was receiving treatment in the designated medical institution. Four inbound asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine.

A total of 63,880 patients were cured and discharged from hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,396 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hubei. 6,240 close contacts were still under medical quarantine.
