Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on April 24, 2022

No local COVID-19 case was reported on April 24. Two local asymptomatic carriers were identified in Wuhan. There was neither inbound case nor inbound asymptomatic carrier. Yesterday saw no suspected case or death. No patient was discharged from hospital. 42 asymptomatic carriers were discharged from medical observation (19 in Wuhan, 1 in Suizhou, 4 in Huanggang, 2 in Huangshi and 16 in Ezhou).

As of 24:00, April 24, five local cases were hospitalized in the designated medical institution (4 in Wuhan and 1 in Huanggang, all with mild symptoms). There was no suspected case in the medical institution.186 local asymptomatic patients were under medical observation (82 cases in Wuhan, 33 in Huanggang, 56 in Ezhou, 1 in Xiaogan, 3 in Suizhou, 1 in Shiyan, 5 in Enshi and 5 in Yichang).

No inbound case was receiving treatment in the designated medical institution. 11 inbound asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine.

A total of 63,881 patients were cured and discharged from hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,398 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hubei. 4,874 close contacts were still under medical quarantine.
