Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on June 2, 2022

No local or inbound COVID-19 case was reported on June 2. Three inbound asymptomatic carriers were found (one from Pakistan and two from South Korea). Yesterday saw no suspected case or death. No confirmed patient was discharged from hospital. Two asymptomatic carriers were discharged from medical observation (one in Ezhou and one in Jingmen).

As of 24:00, June 2, one local case with mild symptoms in Wuhan was hospitalized in the designated medical institution. There was no suspected case in the medical institution. One local asymptomatic patient was under medical observation in Ezhou.

No inbound case was receiving treatment in the designated medical institution. Six inbound asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine.

A total of 63,886 patients were cured and discharged from hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,399 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hubei. 795 close contacts were still under medical quarantine.
