Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on June 8, 2022

Neither local nor inbound COVID-19 case was reported on June 8. Four inbound asymptomatic carriers from Pakistan were identified. Yesterday saw no suspected case or death. No patient was discharged from hospital, nor was any asymptomatic carrier from medical observation.

As of 24:00, June 8, one local case with mild symptoms in Wuhan was hospitalized in the designated medical institution. There was neither suspected case in the medical institution nor local asymptomatic patient under medical observation.

No inbound case was receiving treatment in the designated medical institution. Seven inbound asymptomatic patientswere under medical quarantine.

A total of 63,886 patients were cured and discharged from hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,399 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hubei. 706 close contacts were still under medical quarantine.
