Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on July 2, 2022

Neither local nor inbound COVID-19 case was reported on July 2. Two inbound asymptomatic carriers were identified (one from Turkey and one from Hong Kong). Yesterday saw no suspected case or death. One inbound patient was discharged from hospital. Four inbound asymptomatic carriers were discharged from medical observation. 

As of 24:00, July 2, neither local case nor suspected case was hospitalized in the designated medical institution. Two local asymptomatic patients were under medical observation. 

Two inbound cases with mild symptoms were receiving treatment in the designated medical institution. 10 inbound asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine.

A total of 63,888 patients were cured and discharged from hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,402 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hubei. 915 close contacts were under medical quarantine.
