Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on July 4, 2022

No local COVID-19 case was reported on July 4. One inbound case and four inbound asymptomatic carriers from Pakistan were identified. Yesterday saw no suspected case or death. No patient was discharged from hospital, nor was any asymptomatic carrier discharged from medical observation.

As of 24:00, July 4, neither local case nor suspected case was hospitalized in the designated medical institution. Two local asymptomatic patients were under medical observation.

Three inbound cases with mild symptoms were receiving treatment in the designated medical institution. 14 inbound asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine.

A total of 63,888 patients were cured and discharged from hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,403 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hubei. 859 close contacts were under medical quarantine.
