No local or inbound COVID-19 case was reported on July 28. One inbound asymptomatic carrier from the Republic of Korea was found. No suspected case was identified. Yesterday saw nodeath. No infected patient was discharged from hospital. No asymptomatic carrier was discharged from medical quarantine.

As of 24:00, July 28, no local or suspected case was hospitalized in the designated medical institution. Six local asymptomatic carriers from Wuhan were under medical quarantine.

Four inbound cases with mild symptoms were receiving treatment in the designated medical institution. Nine inbound asymptomatic carriers were under medical quarantine.

A total of 63,891 cases were cured and discharged from hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,407 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hubei. 1050 close contacts were under medical quarantine.
