Exhibition showcasing cultural relics from Yangtze River Basin opens in Wuhan
An exhibition showcasing cultural relics from the Yangtze River Basin opened on Sept. 23, 2025, at the Panlongcheng Site Museum in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
The exhibition features 160 sets of cultural relics from 37 museums and research institutions across the country, including the China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing, the Hunan Museum, and the Hubei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology. Among them, over 40 pieces or sets are first-class national treasures.
Through jade artifacts, lacquerware, bronze wares, gold and silver objects, and ceramics, the exhibition displays the development of civilization, craftsmanship, and artistic achievements along the Yangtze River from the Neolithic era to the Ming and Qing dynasties.
