Wuhan welcomes flocks of migratory birds

Experts explained that these birds mostly migrate from Siberia, traveling thousands of kilometers each winter to overwinter in Wuhan. The population of these migratory birds is expected to reach its peak in early December. 

Photo taken on Nov. 22, 2025 shows flocks of migratory birds gathering over the Tian’e Lake at the Fuhe Wetland in Wuhan. For these guests from afar, the environment and fertile food stock have made the Fuhe Wetland an ideal habitat. As the population of migratory birds reaches its peak, the wetland becomes an ideal destination for birdwatchers, photographers, and locals.
